2025 SLYC Club Sailing

Register for the 2025 Summer Season at the Spring Lake Yacht Club.

The first day of weekend racing for Optis, Butterflys, Lasers, MC, C-Scows, and M-15s is Saturday, May 24. As part of the individual holiday series, these fleets will race on Memorial Day, the 4th of July, and Labor Day. We will continue giving out holiday series trophies on the Sunday of the holiday weekend after C Scows/M15s are finished and off the water.

E Scow fleet will continue with Thursday night racing in coordination with family nights. We plan for two back-to-back races starting at 6 pm. Our first race will be on May 15 as of now - please watch for communication regarding this. This year, for just the E-scows, the 4th of July Series will be held on June 26, 27, and July 3rd to avoid heavy boat traffic on the lake. For Memorial Day and Labor Day, we will sail on the Friday before the holiday in addition to Thursday.

MC, Laser, & Butterfly - 11:30 am

C-Scows & M-15 - 2:10 pm

Thursday & Select Friday E-Scow - 6:00 pm

Dates:

Optis, Butterfly, MC Scow, C Scow, M-15: Every Saturday and Sunday, May 24 through September 1, including May 26 (Memorial Day), July 4 (4th of July), and September 1 (Labor Day).

E-Scows: Thursday evening for May 15 through September 28, including three Friday evenings on May 23 (Memorial Day Series), June 27 (4th of July Series), and August 29 (Labor Day Series).

Times

OPTI [Saturday & Sunday Series]: 10 AM. No warning signal will be made after 10:45 AM.

LASER [Saturday & Sunday Series]: 11:30 AM.

MC SCOW [Saturday & Sunday Series]: Immediately following Laser.

BUTTERFLY [Saturday & Sunday Series]: Immediately following MC Fleet start. The warning signal for the first Lasers/MC/Butterfly fleet will not be made after 12:30.

C SCOW [Saturday & Sunday Series]: 2:10 PM.

M-15 [Saturday & Sunday Series]: Immediately following C Scow.

E SCOW [Thursday Evening Series]: 6 PM. Two races will be attempted.

E SCOW [Friday Evening Holiday Series]: 6 PM. Two races will be attempted.

You can purchase additional trailer stickers for $100 each.

Entry Fees

Fees for all fleets will go up 10% for boats registered after April 30, 2025.
